Born
and raised in Alberta, Rob Miller lived in several small,
rural communities before graduating with a BFA from the
Alberta College of Art and Design in 2000. His early
paintings were largely based on small town architecture
but in recent years his interest has shifted to the
landscape with sky as the prominent element of his
compositions. Since 2008 Rob has lived on Vancouver Island
where he paints the west coast and his prairie homeland.
Rob’s work has been featured in numerous group and solo
exhibitions. His paintings can also be found in the
collection of the Canada Council Art Bank as well as
private collections across Alberta and BC.
